Paris Outfit Look Book

As many of you know, I traveled to Paris for the very first time this summer, so obviously I had to plan out my entire wardrobe from head to toe! Paris has been on the top of my travel bucket list for years so when I finally booked flights with my best friend I immediately went into excited planning mode. And when I say planning, I mean over-planning, but that’s just me naturally 🙂 So today I’m sharing what I wore in Paris and where you can find the pieces too! All of the items I wore will be linked below the images, happy shopping!

Day 1 – Exploring St. Germain

On our very first day in Paris we both arrived at the airport early in the morning (around 9am) so we had a full day ahead of us! I went for a girly but casual look with sneakers, a ruffled dress and straw bag. Boy, it was hot out! But this little number kept me cool because it was a really light material.

Blue Ruffled Dress

White Platform Sneakers

Straw Bag

Day 2 – Breakfast at Ladurée, Arc de Triomphe & Shopping

Our second day in Paris was a little better planned out than the first because we weren’t as tired and had a better idea of what we wanted to do. We started the day off with breakfast at Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées, walked over to the Arc de Triomphe for some photos and then spent the rest of the day shopping! I went with a floral print and heels on this day because I wanted to feel extra pretty for breakfast!

White Kitten Heels

Day 3 – Galeries Lafayette & Eiffel Tower Picnic

Our last full day in Paris was spent doing more shopping (obvs) and ended off with a lovely picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower. I’ve never seen a bigger or more beautiful mall than Galeries Lafayette! Every level had tons of stores and you could say we went a little crazy in there 😉 Our picnic started off a bit rough because we weren’t in an ideal spot, but once we moved and found a better location to set up we didn’t want to leave! I did an outfit change between these activities, so look below to see the details!

White Tie Top (I can’t find this top so here’s a look alike)

Denim Skirt (This is also just a similar skirt because I bought mine a year ago!)

White Eyelet Dress

Although we didn’t spend much time in Paris, I was able to get a feel for the culture and style of the city. It was just as I expected and I can’t wait to visit again! Have you been to Paris? Share your favourite Paris activities/attractions or tourist spots below!

Easter Sunday Style

Easter Sunday is one of my favourite days of the year and it’s an occasion that I always dress up for. My Sunday consists of Church in the morning with my family, followed by a buffet style brunch, Easter basket hunting and then dinner! It’s quite a formal day for my family so this year I picked up a gorgeous long white blazer to wear. Here’s how I styled it…

I paired the dress with a pale blue chiffon scarf, white (faux) snakeskin heels and a Black Caviar Chanel wallet purse.

Blazer: Zara (Shop It Here)

Heels: Payless Shoe Source

Scarf: from my Mom’s closet (literally!)

I hope you’re all enjoying your long Easter weekend! Feel free to share your thoughts about my Sunday fit in the comments section below ☺️

Florals – OOTD Feature

Yesterday Vancouver was blessed with an incredibly warm and sunny day so of course I had to bring out the floral prints.

This past weekend I picked up this super cute dusty purple floral blouse from American Eagle. The best part was that it was on clearance! I got this top for under $10CAD can you believe it?!

I decided to go all out with this look and match my top to my shoes with these purple-y grey sock boots from Zara. I didn’t think it was time to pull out the sandals just yet 😉

I styled these two pieces with my light wash Mom jeans from TopShop and my white Gucci bag to top it off.

It’s safe to say that I felt super Spring-y in this fit! Hopefully we’ll start getting these warmer sunny days more often!

Parisian Style

This week I wore a look that I’d never tried before, the Parisian inspired #ootd with a beret. I’m all for Parisian fashion so I recently purchased a black beret for the Fall and Winter seasons. The brand is Parkhurst from the Hudson’s Bay Company and it was only $25! You can shop this black one and different colours here.

My top is from Aritzia and I also recently purchased it from the Aritzia Warehouse Sale in Vancouver. You can read about my experience at the sale here.

Outfit Diary – California

California has now become my home away from home. From the never-ending sunshine to the hundreds of tourist attractions and activities, it’s one of the places that I find myself at my happiest.

After a long two weeks in the California rays I’d like to share a few of the outfits I had put together for the trip. I was definitely feeling inspired by the blogger filled community that I was surrounded by!

My Favourite Summer Pieces

Every season comes with new trends, and this summer season I’ve had quite a few pieces on repeat. I’m not one to wear an outfit twice, but the pieces I’ve been living in are super, duper versatile 😉

Cropped, Raw Hem Denim

All of a sudden cropped jeans are making their move on the market! I’m up to 3 pairs now, two of which I made myself. They can be fancied up or dressed down and they pair perfectly with a pair of mules, sandals, flats, or runners.

Levi’s Wedgie Lastin

Denim Skirts

This trend started in the Spring season I think, and because there are so many shades of denim you can purchase, there are endless outfits you can create! Blue jean denim, white, or black pair well with just about any top you can find! Check out my denim skirt styling tips here.

Agolde Quinn Devotee Skirt

Lightweight Blouses

Hot weather and blouses don’t mix…unless you find the right material and weight that is!Tie up blouses, ruffled blouses, peplum blouses, and more have been hot on my radar every time I go shopping. They instantly dress you up and make your casual someone else’s formal. The best part is that they’re so easy to find and style! Pick a neutral bottom and you’re good to go.

Literally anything with bows is in my closet. I’ve got headbands, jewelry, clothing, and shoes with bows on them. Pretty, cute, and flirty is all I can say ladies. Bows before bros 😉

Before this year I don’t think I had ever seen a pair of shoes like these! I absolutely love how easily they can be styled and how well they can put an outfit together. Mules are the first shoe I go to now!

Call IT Spring

Small Scarves

An obsession at it’s finest. My scarves find their way onto everything I wear! Whether it be around my neck or on a bag, I love how they look! Stay tuned for my tutorial on how to make your own 😛
