As many of you know, I traveled to Paris for the very first time this summer, so obviously I had to plan out my entire wardrobe from head to toe! Paris has been on the top of my travel bucket list for years so when I finally booked flights with my best friend I immediately went into excited planning mode. And when I say planning, I mean over-planning, but that’s just me naturally 🙂 So today I’m sharing what I wore in Paris and where you can find the pieces too! All of the items I wore will be linked below the images, happy shopping!
Day 1 – Exploring St. Germain
On our very first day in Paris we both arrived at the airport early in the morning (around 9am) so we had a full day ahead of us! I went for a girly but casual look with sneakers, a ruffled dress and straw bag. Boy, it was hot out! But this little number kept me cool because it was a really light material.
Day 2 – Breakfast at Ladurée, Arc de Triomphe & Shopping
Our second day in Paris was a little better planned out than the first because we weren’t as tired and had a better idea of what we wanted to do. We started the day off with breakfast at Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées, walked over to the Arc de Triomphe for some photos and then spent the rest of the day shopping! I went with a floral print and heels on this day because I wanted to feel extra pretty for breakfast!
Our last full day in Paris was spent doing more shopping (obvs) and ended off with a lovely picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower. I’ve never seen a bigger or more beautiful mall than Galeries Lafayette! Every level had tons of stores and you could say we went a little crazy in there 😉 Our picnic started off a bit rough because we weren’t in an ideal spot, but once we moved and found a better location to set up we didn’t want to leave! I did an outfit change between these activities, so look below to see the details!
Although we didn’t spend much time in Paris, I was able to get a feel for the culture and style of the city. It was just as I expected and I can’t wait to visit again! Have you been to Paris? Share your favourite Paris activities/attractions or tourist spots below!
Denim is definitely an essential for the Spring and Summer months and I’ve recently been obsessing over denim jackets because they’re so versatile and can so easily be worn casually or dressed up for a night out. Denim in general though is convenient to throw on last minute and to pair with any outfit, so here are my favourite denim trends for summer.
My #1 place to shop for anything denim is TopShop because they have a petite section and I love how all of their denim fits. Next up would be Levi’s, Citizens of Humanity, Gap, and J-Crew! Below I’ve linked similar pieces to the ones shown but different styles can really be found anywhere. 🙂
Easter Sunday is one of my favourite days of the year and it’s an occasion that I always dress up for. My Sunday consists of Church in the morning with my family, followed by a buffet style brunch, Easter basket hunting and then dinner! It’s quite a formal day for my family so this year I picked up a gorgeous long white blazer to wear. Here’s how I styled it…
I paired the dress with a pale blue chiffon scarf, white (faux) snakeskin heels and a Black Caviar Chanel wallet purse.
Over the past few years phone cases have shifted from being just about protection to a stylish everyday accessory. Some people like to match their phone cases to their outfits (I admit I occasionally do so myself) and others use them to simply express their personal style. CaseApp has now made it 100x easier to make your phone case reflect your personal style with their handy-dandy customization tool. Not only do they sell phone cases though, they also sell laptop skins! How exciting!
Customization on caseapp.com is an easy process and it goes like this…
Upload 1 or more images of your choice. You have the option of collaging photos.
If the image doesn’t cover the entire case you can choose the background colour.
Choose the material of your phone case; matte or glossy.
Optionally add text or clipart to the case on top of your image(s).
Voila! It’s off to printing and delivered right to your doorstep!
The same goes for laptop cases and skins as well, very convenient if you ask me! You can even match your phone case to your laptop case, woo!
Since I wear mostly neutral colours and accessories I chose to make my phone cases minimal in black and white. I found a couple of quotes on Pinterest and stuck em on the cases! They turned out beautifully and the quality of the cases definitely lived up to my expectations.

A patent leather skirt is probably a hit or miss for most people, you either love it or you hate it. What I love about this piece is that it can be dressed up or down depending on where you’re going and what you’re doing. Whichever way you choose to go it will always make a statement. It’s not something you see every day so I’ve done a little research, searched for inspo, and come up with a list of ways that you can style your patent leather skirt. On top of that I’ve sought out the most affordable faux patent leather skirts I could find so that you can shop easily. Now let’s get to the styling shall we?
Warm and Cozy – Try pairing your favourite knit sweater with the skirt for a warm yet chic look.
Basic but Bold – Going to class? Going for a simple cup of coffee? Throw on a t-shirt, plain or embroidered, for a basic but bold look.
Lovely Layers – Everyone loves some good layering, am I right? Grab a few different pieces, maybe a t-shirt, button up, and blazer for an effortless classic look.
Tights Galore – I agree that a skirt on a cold Fall or Winter day is not ideal but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear one! Try a pair of fishnets or see-through nylons with boots and a sweater for that cozy fashionable feel.

So what do you think? Will you try out the (p)leather skirt trend this year?
**I do not own any of these photos. They are being used only for inspirational purposes.**
I’m hoping to start doing more posts on my daily outfits because it’s the type of blog post I personally LOVE reading about and looking at. I hope you enjoy these few summer outfits that I’ve worn lately, all of the piece details are in their captions!
Pants: Aritzia Trousers (I couldn’t find the exact pair online, but I’ve linked a similar one)
Top: Zara Trafuluc T-Shirt (no longer available on their site but it’s pretty much a basic white tee!)
It’s safe to say that denim skirts are a hot trend right now, so I’d like to dig in and share my top 5 ways to style one!
#1 Plain white T-shirt and Simple Jewelry
Sometimes less is more! It doesn’t matter if your skirt is plain denim or has an embroidered design because a white t-shirt will never get old. It’s a classic staple and with simple jewelry it can create a timeless chic look.
#2 Oversized Sweater or Hoodie
This look is all about comfort and that “I’m wearing my boyfriend’s sweater” vibe. Seriously, who doesn’t love wearing oversized sweaters?! Styling denim is easy because just about anything goes with it and in this look you’re free to go for a neutral or colorful top.
This is one of my personal favourites because with the right denim fit, it can be really flattering. Try a plain tank top body suit or try out something with mesh to spice it up. This look is perfect for a day to the beach, especially if you’re wearing a one piece, or a night out!
#4 Cropped Top
The mini denim skirt I own is a DIY but it’s also high-waisted so I often like to pair it with a cropped top. Some examples of cropped shirts are cut t-shirts, blouses, or longer bralettes. I personally wouldn’t pair a low-riding denim skirt with a cropped top because it’s a little too much exposure for me, but it’s definitely an option if you’re up for it!
#5 Loose Button Down
This also is one of my go-to looks because it’s so relaxed, yet so classy! A loose button down blouse itself can be styled in so many ways, why not pair it with a bit of denim? Try leaving the bottom buttons undone and then tying the ends, or leave the top buttons undone for an off the shoulder look. There are so many possibilities!
