5 Ways to Style a Plaid Boyfriend Blazer

One of the big statement pieces this Fall season is the plaid blazer and I honestly feel like it’s a piece that you’ll always be able to keep in your wardrobe. No matter what style it is, fitted or boyfriend, it’s a piece that can be paired with quite a few other wardrobe items and it isn’t something that I can ever see going completely out of style.

Since it’s one of the hottest looks this season here are five ways that you can style one and also where you can buy one!

#1 With Jeans, a Tee, and Sneaks

Get an effortlessly chic look by pairing your boyfriend blazer with your favourite pair of straight leg jeans and some fresh sneakers!

#2 With a Matching Bottom

No mis-match, no problem! While you’re shopping for a plaid blazer try to search the same store or website for a matching skirt or trousers. Who could have thought that looking professional and put-together would be so easy?!

#3 As a Dress

If you have a really oversized (meaning long) boyfriend blazer, then do up the buttons, wrap a belt around it, and call it a day! This look is sexy but still classy. Unfortunately I don’t have a blazer that’s long enough to complete this look so here’s some inspo instead!

#4 With a Bralette

Feeling a little bit edgy? Pair your plaid blazer with a pretty bralette and jeans or trousers! I personally love this look (even if you’d never catch me in it) because of it’s simplicity. It’s a great fit for a date night or even partying!

#5 With an Oversized Dress Shirt

This look is great for a warmer day but since it’s Fall and temperatures are rapidly decreasing here in Vancouver, you can try nylons with this look to keep you warm! This outfit totally reminds me of Serena from Gossip Girl!
